Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services – Johanna Shores in Arden Hills, MN, is hiring a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan, implement and monitor engaging resident activities. The role reports to the Life Enrichment Director and supports a community offering assisted living and memory care options.

The position requires a High School Diploma, preference for senior programming experience, and a Class B license or ability to obtain within six months. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Plan, program, implement and coordinate recreation programming for residents.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Class B license or ability to obtain within six months of hire as required by site.
• Strong communication skills, including insights into resident preferences and needs.
• Able and willing to work flexible hours such as during evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative and positive rapport with residents, staff, families and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor life enrichment programming for residents.
• Promote residents’ well-being and satisfaction by supporting their daily lives.
• Guide the care team to establish and implement each resident’s plan of care with residents and families.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to meet psychosocial needs with meaningful activities.
• Lead and participate in Chat Circles with residents and staff daily.
• Assist residents with activities of choice, including outings and events.
• Provide one-on-one interaction and plan outings or activities.
