The role emphasizes warm interaction, creativity, and organizing a varied program for residents, with weekday and rotating weekend shifts on-site in Indiana.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed state-approved training course and certification.
• Activities experience in a nursing facility is a plus.
• Warm, patient and enthusiastic personality.
• Creative, energetic and able to engage a room.
• Ability to work weekdays and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate an activity program according to established policies.
• Plan group and individual activities designed to restore self-care and well-being per resident needs and interests.
• Prepare facility activity calendar.
• Organize, schedule and supervise activities per residents' interests.
• Establish and maintain a home-like atmosphere for residents.
