Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• One year of experience in a Residential Life office on a college campus.

• Proven ability to manage crises, resolve conflicts and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential information and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, evaluates and selects Resident Assistant staff.
• Facilitates a community and educational environment across residence halls with inclusive programming.
• Counsels and assists residents with personal, interpersonal and facilities concerns.
• Uses THD, StarRez, Maxient and similar platforms to manage move-in/out, conduct and wellness processes.
• Coordinates and implements program areas including first-year, sophomore and upper-division experiences.
• Acts as liaison between residents and Facilities Services for timely maintenance requests.
• Primary contact for students with issues involving mental health, academics or relationships; collaborates with parents and staff.
• Manages Resident Assistant program budget through receipts and PCard oversight.
• Enforces Trinity University Residential Life policies and participates in Student Life committees.
• Serves as Campus Security Authority (CSA) and Summer Housing Coordinator as assigned.
• Reports all details about alleged misconduct involving students, faculty or staff.
