Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Wisconsin is seeking a dynamic Activities Coordinator to work every other weekend and every other Monday and Friday, with rotating holidays. You will assist the Resident Experience Director in planning activities that support residents’ social, physical, spiritual, and mental well-being while meeting state requirements.

You will welcome new residents, manage event supplies, set up and break down events, and occasionally drive the community bus for outings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and organizing programs for residents, families, and staff.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to give directions clearly and pleasantly.
• Ability to engage residents and enlist staff support for activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resident Experience Director in planning activities that support residents’ quality of life and meet state requirements.
• Follow the Calendar of Events and maintain an active, social environment.
• Maintain updated social histories and Life Profiles for residents.
• Assist with the Better Health for a Better Self program to meet residents’ wellness needs.
• Welcome new residents, participate in event setup/breakdown, and drive the community bus when needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
