Kennedy Healthcare LLC on Long Island seeks a Recreation Supervisor to oversee recreational programming and resident engagement. You will lead activities, coordinate staff, and collaborate with care teams to tailor programs to residents' interests and abilities.

Two years in a nursing home or recreational setting is preferred, with supervisory experience. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential to ensure safe, meaningful activities and accurate record-keeping.

Formación

• Minimum two years in a nursing home or recreational program within the last five years.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with computers; familiarity with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Dependable, adaptable, and committed to resident-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the day-to-day management and coordination of recreation department operations.
• Provide leadership and oversee departmental activities in the Recreation Director's absence.
• Organize, schedule, and lead group activities and individualized programs tailored to residents' needs and interests.
• Complete required MDS assessments, care plans, admission evaluations, quarterly reviews, and significant change assessments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident involvement in activities and communicate concerns or changes to the appropriate department leadership.
• Provide coverage and support for recreation staff as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist with special projects and other departmental duties as assigned.
