Job summary

RegalCare at Worcester is seeking an Activity Assistant for a full-time role, working three days a week and weekends from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will help plan and run daily activity programs to enhance residents' quality of life and encourage participation in group and individual activities.

The position requires a friendly, patient, and compassionate personality, with the ability to work independently and with a team, while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or activities preferred, but not required.
• Outgoing, patient, and compassionate personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing daily activity programs.
• Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities.
• Help set up and clean up activity areas.
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
• Support special events, holiday programs, and weekend activities.
• Maintain a positive, respectful environment for residents.
• Follow facility policies and safety guidelines.
