Job summary

RegalCare at Worcester is seeking a friendly and energetic Activity Assistant for a full-time position, operating three days a week and weekends, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, to support the Activities Department in delivering engaging programs that improve residents' quality of life.

You will help plan daily activities, encourage participation, assist with setup and cleanup, escort residents, and assist with events while maintaining safety and a positive environment in line with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, patient, and compassionate personality.
• Experience in long-term care or activities preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing daily activity programs.
• Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities.
• Help set up and clean up activity areas.
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed.
• Support special events, holiday programs, and weekend activities.
• Maintain a positive, respectful environment for residents.
• Follow facility policies and safety guidelines.
