Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or GED plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area.
• Plus 2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director in visiting new residents and encouraging participation.
• Review the activities calendar and promote engagement in the program.
• Escort residents to and from activities and provide reminders of events.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars, including large print versions for vision-impaired residents.
• Organize and direct scheduled activities, including weekends or when the Director is unavailable.
• Maintain confidentiality and promote residents' rights.
• Set up activity spaces and restore them after events.
