Avir Health Group seeks an Activities Director to lead the facility's activity program, enriching residents' lifestyles with engaging, therapeutic activities and promoting a home-like atmosphere. You will coordinate staff and volunteers to deliver music, arts, games, and wellness initiatives tailored to resident needs.

Key qualifications include an Activity Director Certification and prior nursing home supervisory experience, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills to inform

Competenze

• Activity Director Certification preferred.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and promote recreation programs including music, dance, arts and crafts, cultural arts, nature study, social recreation and physically and mentally stimulation exercises.
• Keep abreast of current events within the community and utilize available resources.
• Organize and maintain both daily and monthly schedule of activities. Inform and assist residents regarding activities.
• Develop resident’s council/grievance committee to encourage the residents’ involvement and provides means for ensuring the rights of residents.
• Supervise volunteer support.
