Job summary

The Ivy Castle Rock is seeking an Activity Director to organize and direct the activities and excursions that enhance residents’ independence and quality of life. You will plan, schedule, and promote engaging programs, and work to build meaningful relationships within the community.

Role requires a high school diploma, a valid license with passenger endorsement, and at least one year of experience coordinating activities. Must be flexible to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in planning and coordinating activities and events.
• Ability to lead a team and supervise staff/volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, creative activities and excursions for residents.
• Actively participate in resident activities and promote participation.
• Recruit, develop, and schedule Activity Assistants and volunteers.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
