Willow Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities and daily pay.

The position focuses on creating engaging activities that promote residents’ social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being. Responsibilities include planning and documenting programs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and assisting with events and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience in activities or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment to enhance quality of life for residents.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Plan and implement recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care goals.
• Escort and transport residents to activities and assist with events.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain program records.
