Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to support the Lifestyle Director in planning and leading programs that enrich residents' lives. You will help organize activities, manage calendars, and assist with outings and dining services, ensuring a warm, welcoming community for seniors.

You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and residents, communicating clearly and maintaining records while upholding Sagora's safety standards and care focus.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ in a similar role or experience with event planning.
• Experience with fitness instruction.
• Experience in administrative assistant tasks.
• Strong English communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lifestyle Director with program planning and execution.
• Lead lifestyle programs and activities, including setup and teardown.
• Develop and distribute monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Support outings before, during, and after; coordinate logistics.
• Communicate daily with residents and associates about activities and events.
• Assist dining room services to ensure quality dining experiences.
• Maintain records of activities, events, and calendars; support volunteers as needed.
• Attend and lead associate meetings and dementia-focused trainings.
• Monitor safety and identify items that could impact resident well-being.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
