Job summary

Blueberry Hill Rehab is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role from 10 am to 6 pm, alternating weekends, in Beverly, MA. You will create a welcoming environment, document resident participation, and support social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through engaging programs.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least one year in an activities/healthcare setting; strong English communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with seniors is highly desirable.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' quality of life.
• Document resident participation in activities and programs.
• Promote well-being through meaningful activities and interactions.
• Assist in planning and implementing recreational, social, educational, and community programs.
• Escort and transport residents to activities as needed.
• Complete administrative tasks and program records.
