Job summary

Blueberry Hill Rehab is seeking an Activities Assistant for a part-time role, 10 am–6 pm, every other weekend. This position offers daily pay at $17/hour and involves creating engaging programs for residents’ social, emotional, physical, and intellectual well-being.

You will document participation, collaborate with the care team, and help plan activities while upholding our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging environment that enhances residents' daily life.
• Document resident participation in activities and programs.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through activities.
• Assist in planning and implementing recreational and community programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities and events.
