Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Oregon is currently seeking an Activities Assistant Full Time for our Long Term Care Facility. The Activity Assistant assists the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities for the residents, with duties including record keeping, environment care, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; STNA certification preferred.
• Verbal and writing abilities necessary to communicate with staff, residents, families and the public.
• Motor coordination and manual dexterity required to lead activity programming.
• Able and willing to work flexible hours, including emergencies.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Activity Director to provide group and individual activities for residents.
• Maintains record keeping and attention to the environment.
• Manages supplies, equipment, and storage areas.
