Job summary

Pomeroy Living is seeking a reliable Laundry Aide to ensure residents have clean clothing and linens, maintaining a homelike, comfortable environment. You will handle the resident laundry and facility linens with care, following safety and sanitation guidelines while supporting a well-organized laundry area on site.

Ideal candidates demonstrate honesty, adherence to directions, and strong communication with staff and residents, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a dependable work

Qualifications

• Honesty and integrity in care and use of resident and facility property.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written, with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Wash resident clothing and facility linens according to company policies and procedures.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry items efficiently and accurately.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area and adhere to cleaning schedules.
