Job summary

Compass NOVA is seeking Residents in Counseling or Supervisees in Social Work for an Intensive In-Home program and outpatient services. This role supports adults, youths, and families with a flexible full-time schedule that includes afternoon and evening sessions, with strong supervision and opportunities to build licensure hours.

Compensation ranges from $22–$27 per hour, includes healthcare benefits, mileage reimbursement, a company-issued iPad, and paid supervision/training.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Eligible for Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in Virginia.
• Availability for afternoon/evening appointments.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and community-based therapy.
• Support youth and families in achieving treatment goals.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Engage caregivers, schools, and other treatment professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision and case consultation.
• Maintain timely documentation.
• Ensure access to 24/7 crisis support.

Our Intensive In-Home (IIH) program offers a comprehensive clinical experience for Residents in Counseling and Supervisees in Social Work.

Flexible Full-Time Schedule

• Full-time status = 105 hours/month (~24–26 hours/week)

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual, family, and community-based therapy

Compensation

$22 – $27/hour (depending on experience)
