Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our community running smoothly, servicing common areas and apartments with a service-oriented mindset. You will connect with residents, guests, vendors, and teammates while performing general maintenance and custodial tasks.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on experience in hospitality or multifamily settings, plus a workable schedule Monday–Friday with after-hours emergency coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 25+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance and custodial experience in hospitality, multifamily, or senior living.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with flexibility for emergencies outside hours.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and technology.
• Organized, self-motivated with strong communication in a fast-paced setting.
• Provides respectful, service-minded communication with residents and contractors.
• Safe use of hand tools, vacuums, pressure washers, paint equipment and ladders.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve resident maintenance requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Execute apartment turnovers within three business days, including paint touch-ups and carpet cleaning.
• Perform quarterly air-conditioning filter changes in all units.
• Complete and record monthly safety inspections for fire and emergency systems.
• Manage maintenance inventory and order parts and supplies.
• Maintain the structural integrity and appearance of common areas.
• Clear sidewalks to stay compliant with safety standards, including snow/ice removal.
• Ensure proper trash removal from building and grounds.
• Coordinate service for HVAC, elevators, fire/sprinkler systems, generators, and landscaping vendors.
• Monitor contractor performance to uphold standards.
• Operate the community shuttle bus for resident transportation needs.
• Conduct scheduled bus inspections and routine maintenance.
• Participate in resident onboarding through the RLC Orientation process.
