Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks while delivering friendly, responsive service to residents and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork with staff and leadership, safety compliance, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. Residency in the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods.
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance.
• Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of all areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
