Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment within a long-term care facility. You will perform daily cleaning, ensure sanitation, and interact with residents and staff to provide excellent service in a supportive team.

The role emphasizes adherence to infection control, safety standards, and flexibility to cover duties as needed. Training is provided, with opportunities for career development within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies for a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
