Masonicare at Mystic, CT is seeking a Housekeeper for the day shift (28 hours per week). The role involves routine housekeeping in assigned areas, including cleaning common areas and residents' homes, dusting, washing walls, mopping floors, vacuuming, and bed changing as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; ability to drive safely and work as part of a team. Attends departmental meetings and related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: Valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to drive vehicle and understand traffic regulations; maintain safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions on area and assignment; gather supplies and transport to area.
• Clean common areas and resident homes; dust furnishings; wash walls and windows; mop floors; vacuum carpets.
• Strip and remake unoccupied beds as needed.
• Maintain safety by watching for hazardous cleaning fluids and following infection control procedures.
• Interact respectfully with residents and staff; communicate effectively.
• Attend departmental meetings and inservice education.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
