RiverWoods Manchester is seeking a Fitness Coordinator to develop and manage fitness and wellness programs for residents and staff. This full-time role involves leading group classes, coordinating wellness initiatives, and collaborating with inter-disciplinary teams to promote a healthy living environment.

You will be responsible for equipment safety, program development, and resident engagement, including events and outdoor activity coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or related field, or commensurate experience.
• 2–5 years working with the senior population.
• Fitness certification can include ACE, AFAA, or other.
• Ability to communicate complex training principles clearly.

Aufgaben

• Teaches group fitness classes for residents and staff (IL, AL) to improve strength, flexibility and cardio.
• Contributes to a healthy culture by working with inter-disciplinary teams.
• Develops marketing campaigns to promote fitness and wellness participation.
• Operates and demonstrates fitness equipment safely and correctly.
• Recommends new programs to promote wellness and potential revenue.
• Provides excellent customer service and ensures safe exercise.
• Researches off-site fitness options to broaden offerings.
• Tracks attendance and performance data of wellness events.
• Plans fitness activities with other departments (Dining, Social Event Coordinators).
• Oversees safety and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Offers personal training sessions.
