Comstock Companies in Virginia is seeking a Security Officer for ParkX Management to help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, tenants, and guests.

The role requires a VA security officer certification, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year in a customer-service setting. You will patrol, control access, report issues, and support events, with after-hours and weekend availability and a strong emphasis on integrity and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Virginia state security officer certification required.
• At least 1 year in a customer-service related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around buildings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Observation and reporting of safety issues.
• Issue banning notices to rule violators.
• Maintain files for ban notices and notify management when necessary.
• Enforce plaza policies and communicate rules to guests.
• Assist Marketing during events and manage valet at Reston Station.
