Job summary

CLS Living is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Bloomington, IN, to lead teams, mentor staff, and ensure outstanding resident experiences. You will act as General Manager in their absence and drive daily operations across property administration, facilities, and sales.

Expect responsibilities in staff development, budgeting, vendor coordination, and customer experience initiatives, with emphasis on occupancy and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year experience in student/multi-family housing preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Property Management software (Entrata).
• Working knowledge of market rate and affordable housing programs and housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Community by setting a Service Excellence standard and inspiring teams to achieve it.
• Assist General Manager with training, coaching, development and leadership of exceptional staff.
• Coordinate and supervise contracted services and property maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and high resident satisfaction.
• Manage resident accounts, collections, and property-related admin tasks with accuracy and compliance.
• Lead customer sales interactions and drive revenue goals in collaboration with the Centralized Sales Team.
