Job summary

Elmington Living seeks an Assistant Community Director to support daily property operations, focusing on resident accounts, leasing, and office processes. This role covers on-site leadership in the Community Director’s absence and maintaining accurate financial records and resident satisfaction.

You will handle rent processing, delinquency tracking, move-in activities, renewals, and maintain files while coordinating vendor services and inspections.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience required.
• Experience with RealPage/OneSite, Yardi, Fortress, or similar property management software preferred.
• Fair Housing certification within 7 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Assist with Daily Operations reports and rent-related processes
• Process rent payments, post charges, and manage resident ledgers
• Assist with delinquency tracking, notices, and collection efforts
• Support execution of the property's action plan and initiatives
• Conduct tours, assist with move-ins, and respond to resident inquiries
• Assist with renewal outreach and lease expiration management
• Step in as on-site leader in Community Director's absence
• Maintain accurate resident files and lease documentation
• Coordinate vendor and maintenance activities
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections and apartment turns
