Job summary

Distinctive Living seeks a Resident Experience Assistant (Part Time) for Mira Vie at Clifton in Clifton, NJ. The role focuses on coordinating resident activities, shaping monthly calendars, and arranging entertainment within budget.

This position supports a vibrant community where teamwork and resident-centered programming are valued. Responsibilities include move-in orientation, daily activity execution, quarterly marketing events, and coordinating transportation for outings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Social Service, Business, or related field.
• Must have proven management experience and ability to manage staff.
• Minimum of three years' experience in assisted living preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interest and activity needs at move-in and within 7 days to tailor activity levels.
• Coordinate daily resident activities within budget and develop monthly calendar to boost participation.
• Plan quarterly events with marketing potential, including coordinating setup and cleanup.
• Provide and staff transportation for activities and outings, including medical trips.
• Ensure safety and compliance, reporting injuries and supporting investigations as needed.
• Foster teamwork and proactive problem solving beyond job duties.
