Job summary

Distinctive Living in Montville, NJ, is seeking a Resident Experience Assistant (Full Time) for Mira Vie at Montville, located at 165 Changebridge Road. This Assisted Living/Memory Care community offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule with weekend rotations and provides a role focused on resident engagement.

Responsibilities include assessing resident activity needs, coordinating events, arranging transportation, and supporting the marketing-driven events quarterly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Social Service, Business, or a field related to the position.
• Experience in assisted living is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interest and activity needs at move-in and ongoing; orient residents to the activity program.
• Coordinate and run resident activities daily within budget; develop monthly event calendar to engage residents.
• Plan quarterly events that can support marketing efforts; coordinate with Community Relations Director and management staff.
• Provide and staff transportation for resident activities and medical trips; coordinate outings and transportation as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance; assist with workplace safety and incident handling; support management with investigations and communications.
• Foster teamwork, take initiative, and positively impact coworkers, residents, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
