Still Hopes, a premier continuing care retirement community in Columbia, SC, seeks a Life Engagement Manager to shape residents' experiences and culture.
This role focuses on creating engaging programs for Independent Living residents, planning activities, and leading a Life Engagement team. The candidate will build community connections, coordinate logistics, and explore new partnerships to enrich life at Still Hopes.
Qualifications
- Prefer 5 years' experience in independent living communities or equivalent programming for seniors.
- Minimum age 18 and SC Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Create an Engaging Program of Experiences: develop daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal opportunities based on resident interests and trends.
- Bring Ideas to Life: plan and facilitate social gatherings, wellness, arts, outings, and resident-led initiatives.
- Build Community: create opportunities for residents to connect with families and the Columbia community.
- Lead the Life Engagement Team: oversee daily operations and coordinate for Life Engagement Specialists.
- Collaboration: partner with colleagues to deliver high-quality resident experiences and support events.
- Coordinate the Details: manage schedules, vendors, reservations, communications, attendance and preferences.
- Looking to the Future: bring creativity and identify new partnerships to enrich life at Still Hopes.
