Massport in Boston is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee complex capital projects across our aviation, maritime, and real estate assets. You will lead field teams, ensure design intent, safety, and regulatory compliance, while coordinating with project managers, tenants, and regulatory agencies.

The role emphasizes strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving, with a focus on minimizing operational impacts and upholding Massport standards.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3-5 years in construction, resident engineering, inspection, or construction management in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety procedures, codes, and regulatory constraints.
• Ability to coordinate complex construction activities with diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates construction management expertise to align design, construction, quality, and operations throughout project lifecycle.
• Collaborates with Project Managers, contractors, consultants, Operations, Facilities, tenants, and regulators to coordinate activities and minimize impacts.
• Provides on-site leadership with ongoing observation of safety, quality, sequencing, constructability, and schedule performance; identifies risks and drives corrective actions.
• Maintains comprehensive project oversight through documentation, stakeholder communication, QA coordination, and issue resolution to meet Massport standards and requirements.
