Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field.
• Prior construction engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by licensing board.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based collaboration tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs; identify discrepancies.
• Maintain daily records of contractor activities and resource usage.
• Review materials for contract compliance.
• Track quantities and develop pay estimates.
• Attend and/or chair progress meetings.
• Observe installation and testing of equipment and systems.
• Identify nonconforming work and develop punchlists.
• Prepare record docs for engineer review.
• Assist with project audit/closeout.
• Work under supervision of a senior RP and PM.
• Supervise junior staff and inspectors.
