Job summary

EnTech Engineering, PC is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to support a major façade rehabilitation project in New York City. The Resident Engineer will provide overall project and field oversight, coordinate inspection personnel, monitor contractor compliance, and support the successful execution of façade reconstruction and rehabilitation work.

Qualifications

• Must be a New York State licensed PE or Registered Architect (RA).
• Must be qualified as a QEWI.
• 15+ years of construction experience preferred.
• Strong familiarity with NYC Construction Codes, laws, and regulations pertaining to façades and façade construction safety.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training required.
• Experience managing and directing field inspection personnel.
• Must be able to travel to project sites.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general oversight of consultant staff throughout the duration of the project.
• Manage and direct field inspectors and coordinate day-to-day inspection activities.
• Coordinate with project personnel and other stakeholders throughout construction.
• Verify contractor compliance with contract requirements and the approved Quality Management Plan.
• Perform site visits as necessary to assist, guide, and provide direction to field inspection personnel.
• Identify project issues and assist with determining and implementing appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide technical oversight of façade reconstruction and rehabilitation activities.
• Monitor construction quality and safety requirements throughout the project.

About the Role:

EnTech is seeking an experienced Resident Engineerto support a major façade rehabilitation project in New York City. The Resident Engineer will provide overall project and field oversight, coordinate inspection personnel, monitor contractor compliance, and support the successful execution of façade reconstruction and rehabilitation work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background with relevant construction experience; 15+ years of experience is preferred.
• Strong familiarity with New York City Construction Codes, laws, and regulations pertaining to façades and façade construction safety.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training required.
• Experience managing and directing field inspection personnel.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Must be able to travel to project sites

$150,000-$180,000 annually
