Techno Consult Engineering, PC is seeking an experienced Senior Resident Engineer to oversee daily construction activities, manage inspection staff, ensuring safety, scheduling, budgeting, and contract compliance on complex projects in the New York area.

The role covers marine, waterfront, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil construction, including foundations, piling, shoreline improvements, and utilities.

Qualifikationen

• PE license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety certification.
• 10+ years in Resident Engineering/Construction Management/Inspection, including 5+ years as Resident/Deputy Resident Engineer.
• Experience with marine, waterfront, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil construction.
• Experience with NYC agencies and CM/GC/Design-Build delivery.

• Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, inspection records, progress photos, punch lists, prepare and stamp as-builts, and closeout documentation.
• Primarily based in New York City with flexibility for evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional local travel.

What You\'ll Do

What You\'ll Bring

• 10+ years of Resident Engineering, Construction Management/Inspection, or Heavy Civil Construction experience, including 5+ years as a Resident or Deputy Resident Engineer.
• Experience with marine, waterfront, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil construction, including foundations, piling, concrete structures, shoreline improvements, and utility relocations.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate with owners, engineers, contractors, utilities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of public-sector contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, CPM scheduling, QA/QC, safety, and project documentation.
• Experience with NYCEDC, NYC Parks, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, Port Authority, or similar agencies; familiarity with CM/GC, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build delivery.

Compensation

The anticipated compensation range for this position is $80-$100/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
