Job summary

Meadowview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Philadelphia is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan and implement engaging programs that enrich residents’ daily lives. You will help design activities, lead events, and foster social connections in a state‑of‑the‑art facility.

Working with the Activities Director, you will promote cognitive, physical, and emotional well‑being while documenting participation and outcomes to support program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as activities assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing a diverse range of activities, such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, and social events, designed to meet the needs and interests of our residents
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional well‑being
• Engage with residents through one‑on‑one interactions, small group activities, and large‑scale events, encouraging socialization, participation, and a sense of community
• Assist with designing and implementing special events, such as holiday celebrations and cultural festivals, to enhance the overall living experience
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activity schedules, and program evaluations
