Job summary

The Grove La Grange Park in La Grange Park, IL is seeking an Activity Aide to support residents’ emotional and social wellbeing through companionship and engaging activities. You’ll encourage participation, help schedule movies, plan parties, organize games and crafts, and accompany residents on outings, contributing to a warm, community‑minded environment.

A minimum 10th grade education is required; prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' emotional and social wellbeing by providing companionship.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and social events.
• Assist with scheduling movies, planning parties, organizing games and crafts.
• Accompany residents on activities outside the facility.
