Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Stanwood is seeking an Activities Director (Finance) to lead resident engagement programs and coordinate daily activities that enhance the quality of life for residents.

You will develop monthly calendars with residents, work with the community leadership team to plan events, and arrange meaningful opportunities outside the community, which may include driving a community vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar in partnership with residents and staff.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan, coordinate and execute events (holiday, family, educational, marketing).
• Plans and schedules meaningful resident engagement opportunities outside the community, including driving a community vehicle.
