You will engage them in meaningful activities and build valuable relationships. The position requires a high school diploma and preferably some experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in a healthcare or activities department preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and engaging environment for residents.
• Document resident participation in activities.
• Promote residents' well-being through meaningful activities.
• Assist in planning and implementing recreational programs.
• Build positive relationships with residents based on their interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for resident care.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' behaviors.
• Assist with community outreach and marketing events.
• Complete required administrative tasks and documentation.
• Help prepare and set up activities and events.
• Escort and transport residents to activities.
