Join Arbor Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as an Activities Assistant. This part-time role, from 9AM to 5PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday, offers competitive pay of $15.92 to $22 an hour.

You will create a positive environment for residents, promote their well-being through activities, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Ideal candidates enjoy working with seniors and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Activities Department or related environment preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and engaging environment for residents.
• Document resident participation in activities.
• Promote residents' well-being through meaningful interactions.
• Plan and implement recreational and educational programs.
• Build positive relationships with residents based on their interests.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for resident care.
• Communicate changes in residents' moods and behaviors.
• Assist with community outreach and marketing events.
• Complete required administrative tasks and documentation.
• Prepare and manage activities and special events.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities.
