Job summary

You will plan monthly engagement calendars, coordinate community outings, and collaborate with families and staff to create meaningful resident experiences while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CNA certification.
• 1-2 years of experience with individuals who have Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
• Ability to facilitate dignified, purposeful programming for residents, family, and team members.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Computer skills and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and promote activities to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Facilitate community involvement and volunteerism.
• Safely transport residents using community vehicle per schedule.
• Create engagement calendars with Memory Care Director or Engagement Director.
• Use technology to enhance engagement and teamwork.
• Coordinate outings, events, and partnerships with the community.
• Report observations of resident changes to the team.
• Attend onboarding and training sessions as requested.
