Job summary

Leavitt Family Jewish Home invites an Activities Assistant to help deliver engaging recreational activities for residents. This role supports care goals, documents participation, and coordinates group events in a warm, supportive setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience preferred in Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting.
• Moderate to advanced MS Office skills (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.
