Job summary

Responsibilities

• Make resident satisfaction the number one priority.
• Serve meals to residents, family members and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient and courteous manner.
• Assure compliance with serving techniques/etiquette (e.g., serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses).
• Assist residents with menu selections as needed.
• Accurately take residents and guests’ food and beverage orders; verify accuracy and accommodate special requests.
• Identify how various menu items are prepared and their ingredients and cooking methods for daily specials.
• Ensure plates are presentable before serving and manage to-go orders appropriately.
• Communicate with kitchen and dining staff to adjust orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in dining areas and assist in stock checks.
