Oakmont of Riverpark is a premier senior living community where residents enjoy a rewarding lifestyle. The Server will provide friendly, courteous dining service and support the dining team in a standards-driven environment on-site in Oxnard, CA.

Training is available, and the role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and resident well-being. The position requires at least 16 years old with a work permit, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Ensure proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
