Job summary

Willamette View is hiring a Food Server to deliver outstanding dining experiences to residents and guests. You will attend shift meetings, memorize menu items and ingredients, and describe them to residents. You will also use suggestive selling while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, adherence to food safety policies, and collaboration with team members to create a positive living environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Must have a Food Handler Certification prior to starting.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must consent to and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily shift meetings.
• Memorize menu items and describe at least three ingredients and preparation methods.
• Communicate menu details to residents and guests and use suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Adhere to safety policies and promptly report unsafe conditions.
