Job summary

Convivial Life in Jensen Beach, FL is seeking a Server to take food and drink orders from residents and guests and to serve in a fast, courteous, and efficient manner. You will ensure service meets LifeStar Talents standards and interact respectfully with residents, family members, visitors and staff.

Reporting to the Dining Room Manager, you will explain menu items, use the POS system, and help maintain a pleasant dining experience while adhering to sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Partial high school education exists or is acceptable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits are expected.
• Mathematics skills are required for accuracy in orders.
• Strong customer service abilities and willingness to help coworkers.
• Ability to recognize problems and communicate to management.

Responsibilities

• Greets residents and guests and takes beverage orders.
• Answers questions about the menu and takes food orders.
• Explains how menu items are prepared, ingredients and cooking methods.
• Suggests menu items to guests.
• Submits food orders into the kitchen via POS.
• Serves entrees and maintains a pleasant dining experience.
• Checks on residents and guests during meals and attends to needs.
• Performs clean-up duties and resets tables for next service.
• Keeps tables clean and properly set up, including stocking service areas.
