Job summary

LifeStar Talent, LLC in Jensen Beach, FL is seeking a Server to take food and drink orders from residents and guests in the dining room, delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Dining Room Manager, the Server will use a POS to enter orders, explain menu items, and ensure a clean, inviting dining area. This is a full-time, hourly position with a wage range of $15.00 to $17.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits.
• Mathematic skills.
• Strong customer service abilities: actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a polite, positive manner; takes beverage orders.
• Answers questions about the menu and takes food orders; explains items and methods.
• Submits food orders into kitchen accurately using a POS system.
• Serves residents and guests their entrees in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Maintains a pleasant dining experience and attends to guests during meals.
• Performs clean-up duties after each meal service and prepares for the next meal.
• Keeps assigned tables clean and properly set up; stocks service areas.
