Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate and energetic Server to join our culinary team. The role focuses on table service in the Community dining rooms and offers flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour.

The position emphasizes courteous service, basic dining room duties, and opportunities for training. This part-time role includes daily Pay options and other participant incentives where available.

Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing each day as a Server:

• Sets tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
• Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
