Job summary

Friendship Village in Kalamazoo, MI, is seeking a compassionate Dietary Aide to join our culinary team. This part-time role prepares and serves therapeutic diet trays for skilled nursing residents in accordance with posted menus.

We offer flexible scheduling, benefits, and no late nights, with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour. You will set up dining rooms, chart food and fluid intake, and communicate residents’ nutritional needs to the team. DailyPay and holiday incentives are also available.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing home food service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Sets up tables in the Health Center Dining room and breaks down same after meals.
• Charts food and fluid intake in Health Center Dining Room
• Communicate with residents concerning nutritional needs.
