Job summary

Healthcare Services Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety guidelines while supporting a positive dining experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may require ServSafe certification. The candidate should be able to lift up to 30 pounds, work around cleaning products, and comply with vaccination policies as applicable by state law.

Qualifications

• HS diploma preferred; not required.
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate with occupants, administration, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift up to 30 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Must perform routine, repetitive tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
