Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists in establishing food service production lines to assure meals are on time.
• Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus.
• Serves meals palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Maintains portion control on servings.
• Prepares foods for therapeutic diets per menus.
• Ensures equipment and utensils are provided with meals.
• Maintains clean and organized food storage areas.
• Records food temperatures as required.
• Keeps next meal supplies ready and stocked.
• Assists in inventory and storage of incoming foods and supplies.
