Job summary

The Benchmark Senior Living server role in the Dining Services department supports residents by serving meals and beverages with care and courtesy. Under the Dining Services Director, you ensure quality service and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous dining room and server experience.
• Ability to interact effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals on a timely basis that are both presentable and appetizing in appearance.
• Sets up dining room for meals and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assists residents with meal selection or special needs and ensures prompt, courteous service.
• Maintains dining room cleanliness and adheres to safety and infection control procedures.
• Inventorying supplies and replenishing dining room items as needed.
• Reports hazardous conditions or accidents to supervisor and follows established policies.
