Job summary

Waltonwood Novi is seeking a Server to deliver a high-quality dining experience for residents. You will take meal orders, retrieve meals from the kitchen, and clear dining areas between services, all while maintaining professionalism and resident-focused service.

You will collaborate with the Culinary team, ensure dietary restrictions are followed, and uphold sanitation standards to provide a warm, welcoming dining environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Prior serving and/or restaurant experience in hospitality preferred.
• Working knowledge of dining etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
• Personable and outgoing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals according to resident restrictions, location in dining room, and drink preferences.
• Serve residents drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert.
• Interact with residents and associates in a friendly manner to ensure a positive meal experience.
• Accommodate special requests from residents (condiments, half orders, different items).
• Listen to residents and culinary staff to minimize errors and exceed expectations.
• Clear and reset tables between meal services.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas and sanitation standards.
• Follow instructions from the Dining Room Supervisor and assist with other duties as assigned.
